Kentucky District United Pentecostal Church

Section III. Finances, Paragraph A. District Dues

1. The dues of each minister of the Kentucky District shall be paid to the District Treasury.

2. He or she shall be required to pay: Ordination $65.00 per month, General $45.00 per month and Local $35.00 per month. Each minister will be responsible for his or her budget fee.

3. The District Secretary Treasurer shall email, unless a request is made to be mailed, a statement to each minister at least two weeks before the end of the quarter reporting his or her dues to date.

4. All ministers are to pay their district dues the first week of the beginning of the quarter. On the 12th day after the effective due date, if payment is not received, a $15.00 fee will be applied to the amount past due. Any minister failing to keep his or her dues paid shall be notified by certified mail, text or email that after thirty days he or she will be suspended if no remittance or explanation is made. At the end of the thirty days the District Secretary Treasurer shall send a letter to the Church Administration Division of the United Pentecostal Church International notifying them that the minister has been dropped for non-payment of dues and a copy is sent to the dropped minister.

5. If a minister is suspended he or she may be reinstated with the approval of the District Superintendent, District Secretary and Presbyter upon payment of all past dues and a $50 service fee.

6. Any minister having financial difficulty that makes him or her unable to keep their dues current shall notify the District Secretary Treasurer in writing prior to his or her license being suspended. At such a time a committee of the District Superintendent, District Secretary and Presbyter may decide a one time dues deferment of up to six months of district dues. Any difficulty necessitating more flexibility than six months must be requested in writing to the District Board.

7. Pastors with approved North American Missionary status shall be exempt from district dues and sectional dues for three years during such status.

8. Any minister who retires after a minimum of twenty-five (25) years of ministry with the United Pentecostal Church International and is current with their district and section dues may request retired status with the Kentucky District United Pentecostal Church and his or her district dues would be $20.00 quarterly. The retired minister would still be responsible for his or her UPCI national budget fee.
